Welcome 🙂
Hi, I’m Jenni. I live in a little Cornish village on the edge of the moors and not far from the sea. I am a mother of two. My gorgeous 4 year old boy is full of such energy, kindness and curiosity, I love being able to see the world through his eyes. He has a little brother who was born forever sleeping; I hold him in my heart in all that we do.
Through this blog, I share our connection to nature and the changing seasons. We enjoy nature play and love getting outside to explore our favourite spots or for new adventures!
I am inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and elements of Montessori and Waldorf. I have worked with children for over ten years and hold a BA(hons) in Childhood Studies and believe it is so important for young children to be able to simply play and be free to explore, especially in a natural environment. I am training to be a Forest School leader which I am really enjoying! I can imagine all sorts of woodland adventures in our future…

Hi Jenni, popping over from Instagram and very interesting to read more about you. So sorry to hear about your second little boy :(. We are similar in our preference for outdoors activities. What an interesting degree. I have spent some time working with children too but studied something completely different! I had to google forest school and it looks great. Would love to hear how you get on. Polly xx

Thank you, Polly ❤ So sorry I've had a bit of a break from blogging and have only just seen this. Yes, I think we have similar interests! The forest school training is brilliant – I'll be posting about it at some point. I hope seaside life is treating you well, Jenni x
